Walk-in Appointments:
There is a separate public booking site specifically for walk-in appointments. 

How it works:
- You will need to have a computer or a tablet for patients to book walk-in appointments. (Equipment recommendations are available.)
- The walk-in site will gather all the same information from the patient as your regular public booking site, but differs in that the health profile questionnaire will be included and they will not need to follow the link from the confirmation email to fill it out. Appointment assessment questionnaire questions can also be included if specified in the questionnaire question edit
- Public booking hours are applied the same to walk-ins as they are to the regular public booking site.

- The advance notice preference is also applied to the walk-in site. EXCEPT for the 2 hours advance notice that is required for 0 days for the public booking site. If the service line is enabled for walk-in appointments, and the advance notice is set to 0 days, the walk-in site will accept appointments for 'now'.


- The walk-in site link is found in your footer, bottom left, just under the public booking site link. We recommend that you do not log into your internal side of HQ3 form the walk-in booking computer because if you forget to log out the public could gain access. 

- There are multiple preferences related to the walk-in site, explained below:

Service Line Preference: Enabled for Walk-ins.
- To enable a service line to appear on the walk-in site, this checkbox must be checked on.
- If enabled for walk-in's is not checked on, this service line will not be available for booking appointments through the walk-in site.

Branch Preference: Accept Digital Signatures for Walk-in Appts.
- If on, the consent form page will be presented to patients who are booking an appointment in store via the walk-in site.

Editing the copy on the Walk-in site:
Found in both the branch preferences and the service line setup, just like the regular public booking site.


Branch Preference > Welcome Screen:
- To edit the welcome screen for the walk-in site, select 'Walk-in site' from the drop-down menu and edit.

Service Line Setup > Text Blocks:
- To edit the Intro of the walk-in site, select 'WALK-IN: Intro' from the drop-down menu and hit the 'edit text' button.
- To edit the Thank-you page of the walk-in site, select 'WALK-IN: thank-you' from the drop-down menu and hit the 'edit text' button.
- The Schedule page & Summary page are shared for both the public and the walk-in booking site.
