Send Referral

Send Referral:
If you see a 'Send Referral' link in your appointment, it means you are connected to a specialist (medical advisor) in your area that is willing to accept referrals for patients who are out of your scope. (ie: Require Yellow Fever)

How it works:
- Click on the link 'Send Referral'
- If you have more than one specialist near by, select one.
- 'Send BCC to medical advisor' is selected by default so the specialist can also receive the patients details.
- Hit 'Send' and the 'Appointment Referral' email will be sent to the patient.
- The Appointment status will be changed to 'Referred' with the specialists name and info handy for reference.

Appointment Referral Email Template:
- The Appointment Referral email template can be found by going to the: Setup menu > Email Templates.
- Click 'Preview' beside the email template to preview.
- Click 'Edit' to edit the customizable copy.
