Charges Tab > Appointment Fee and Group Rates

Appointment Charge:
The appointment charge is configured separately per service line and can be added to the patient's appointment automatially upon booking. 
This needs to be setup in advance of booking appointments, and is done in the Service Line Setup > Choose Service Line > On the Charges tab.
  
How it works:
Edit the fields as required.
- Adjust the Appointment Charge and give it a name (the Appointment Charge Name will appear to the patient online and on the invoice etc).
- There are preferences to specify whether the appointment charge should be:
      ~ added to the appointment automatically or not.
      ~ taxable or not.
      ~ applied to follow-up appointments or not. (If not follow-up charges can be configured on the follow-up tab.)
      ~ processed online through credit card payment or not.

- Special Group Pricing can be configured based on the number of patients booking together.

Note:

- If you cancel an appointment that has an appointment charge associated with it, the appointment charge will automatically be removed.
- The public booking site allows for up 8 patients to book at once.
