Miscellaneous Items

MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS:
This is a database for non-drug items that are still part of your offering. For example, if you are selling sandals or sunscreen as part of your travel consultation service, they can be added here.

To add an item, go to your Setup menu > Miscellaneous Items.
- Hit the ADD ITEM button.
- You will first be prompt for a name, enter the name and hit 'add'.
- Then you can enter the fee (sell price) and your cost (which can be used in margin reports).
- Option to specify if item is taxable or not.
- You can enter an internal note if you wish, for example, date you received the shipment, or who your supplier is.
Inventory tracking is available if you wish to use it. Simply check on 'Enable inventory tracking', and then add away.

To sell an item, you simply go to the patients billing tab and use the 'Add Misc Item' button. This will present a popup with all of your miscellaneous items. You just select the one(s) you are looking for and it is added to the invoice and deducted from the inventory.
