How do I receive an email notification of patients public booking activity?
If you would like to be notified by email when a patient books an appointment online or reschedules their appointment via the 'reschedule' link in their confirmation email:
Go to the Setup menu > Email Templates > at the bottom there is an Internal Email Templates section. There are 2 emails you will need to edit:
1. Appointment Booked Online by Patient
2. Appointment Rescheduled by Patient
Click EDIT beside the email template > Put the email address(s) of whomever would like to receive the notification in either the 'TO' or 'CC' field > SAVE.
To preview an email template, click the preview button from the list view. (There are un-editable sections that do not appear on the edit screen.)
