Drug Database > How to add a Drug
How to add a Drug:
This is done in the Setup menu > Drug Database > 'Add Drug'
Hit the 'Add Drug' button:
- Fill out the fields as required (Vaccine name / Type / Category / Disease (select other if needed))
- Fill out the Dosing Type fields (Dosing Type / Dose size / Fee / Booster etc)
> Save.
> You will then be taken to the drugs description tab where you can enter all additional details you would like to include.
> Flip through the rest of the tabs down the left side (Medical Directive / Branches / Diseases / Instructions / Dosages / Advanced) and edit as needed.
Dosing Types:
IE: For Twinrix, we have 4 default dosing types included in our drug database: Standard, Junior, Alternate & Rapid. Each has their own set of information related to follow-up shot schedule, instructions, age, fee's, etc.
- You can add additional dosing types as needed
- Each dosing type will be available for selection when adding a drug to an appointment
