Drug Database > Drug Instructions:
You can have a set of pre-defined drug instructions and select which per dose should be used by default on all patient prescriptions. 

To set up or edit your drug Instructions:
Go to the Setup menu > Drug Database > Click into a drug > Go to the Instructions tab.

> Click 'Edit' to edit an existing instruction
> Click 'Add' to add a new instruction
- Each instruction can have a title and an instruction 

To select default instructions per dosage:
Go to the Dosages tab > Click 'edit' beside one of the dosages.
- Near the bottom of the page, you will see a list of all your instructions for this drug
> Check the checkbox on the left to use this instruction by default for this dose. (You can select multiple.)

> Check the checkbox on the right to 'Hide from dosage during appointment'. (If you don't want the instruction to be an option for this dose.)

Of Note:
- You can edit the instructions during the appointments to tailor the instructions to your patient.
- You can add a custom note to the instructions during an appointment, as well, if needed.
(Click on the instructions link while adding drugs to an appointment. Or click the drug on the prescription tab of an appointment to view the dispensing details, and access the instructions from there as well.)
