Digital Signature for Walk-in Appointments:
If this is checked on the patient will be asked to review the consent form and submit their digital signature while booking their appointment through the walk-in site. (Also available for online booking, see service line setup for individual service line preference.)
Explained:
If you want to obtain a digital signature from patients who book through the walk-in site this should be on. A page will be added to the booking process that contains the consent form copy, consent option's (if applicable) and a field for them to enter their full name before hitting the submit button. This gets time stamped and acts as their digital signature for consent.
If you do not wish to obtain the digital signature:
- Go to Setup > Preference > Branch Preferences > Preferences tab.
- Select 'Off' for 'Digital Signature for Walk-in Appointments'.
Note:
If a patient signature is required for consent the consent form can be printed from the appointment and the patient can sign during the appointment.
